Ok, so I am not crazy, I promise!!
I came across this birth, and it is absolutely amazing!!
Elephants birth mostly at night, surrounded by other female elephants watching for predators. They birth quickly, and make sure everything is finished quickly because they know predators will come to the scent of blood.
This was filmed by humans this elephant was so comfortable with, she birthed near them. This is absolutely amazing.
It does contain graphic images of elephant birth (I don’t think they’re graphic, but there is a bit of blood, and the baby elephant doesn’t breathe right away, so that could be stressful for some viewers).

Holy cow that was intense! Or should I say holy elephant!
My 3 year old wants to watch the elephant birth again (for about the 20th time).
Wow! That was intense and amazing! I'm glad I took the time to watch it.
